Sunday Mornings

We have begun a short series from the book of Deuteronomy. This 5th book of Moses is one of the few books of the Bible that we have not worked through in adult Sunday School, Wednesday Bible Study, or Sunday preaching during these past 18 years. We will only take about 6 weeks so we are not covering this book chapter by chapter. Rather I have looked for themes.

Veteran’s Day

The TBS students presented an excellent Veteran’s Day program on the evening of November 11th. We had many parents, friends, grandparents, and other guests. I believe it was our best attended TBS program ever. Praise the Lord and thanks to the students, staff, and volunteers who did such a good job.

Missionary Susie Kallal

We had a wonderful weekend with Susie Kallal. She gave us a quiz at our International Dinner on Saturday evening about her ministry in Zambia. Then she reported to the church about her ministry during Sunday School. The ladies also enjoyed their afternoon tea with her.

She asked that we pray for the new President in Zambia and for more workers for that field of service.

WACS Tournaments

On October 24th & 25th TBS competed at Northland Baptist Bible College in soccer and volleyball tournaments sponsored by the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools. Our teams were just two of 8 soccer teams and 8 volleyball teams at the tournament. Our school was ranked 1st in B class volleyball and 4th in B class soccer coming into the tournament.
