The Leeds’ Memorial Day weekend

Lin and I along with Zeke and Hannah traveled to Branson, MO this weekend to attend the wedding of our friend Ben Husby. Ben attended TBC for most of 3 year whiles getting his degree at Maranatha. During that time he roomed with Zeke for 2 years. Zeke was a groomsman. We left FdL at 4:30p Friday morning in order to get Zeke to the rehearsal. The wedding was outside in the Missouri heat. (There is a reason my dad calls it the state of Misery.)We had a great time fellowshipping with Ben and his dad, Kirby. We also got to know several others of Ben and Shannon’s families. On Sunday we attended the “classic” service at High Street Baptist in Springfield before heading home. On our way through LaSalle, IL we stopped to visit our good friend Clarabelle Gapinski. We were 12 hours in the car both Friday and Sunday with no accidents, breakdowns, or arguments. Praise the Lord and thank you to those who prayed for us.
