Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 39:4-6 “Lord, make me to know my end, and what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am. 5 Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, and my age is as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah 6 Surely every man walks about like a shadow; Surely they busy themselves in vain; He heaps up riches, and does not know who will gather them.” Life is short. Everything material is temporal. “Lord, help us to measure our days!”

I rejoice for the good Lord’s Day past. What a blessing to be part of a church.

Pray for Van and Patty’s son David F. He will have open heart surgery on Thursday, October 10th. Pray for his physical and spiritual life. Pray for skill and wisdom for the doctors.

A lady named Amy called the church yesterday asking for prayer for the infection in her teeth. She has had several teeh pulled, is on antibiotics, and will have another tooth pulled on October 17th.

Continue to pray for Carolyn O and Pastor Siedschlag – for strength and healing.

Pray for our church/school staff. We are going to the WACS teacher’s convention this Thursday-Friday. Pray for strength of body and mind. Pray for us to learn things that will be a benefit to our ministry.

Pray for our country. The trauma of these hurricanes is impacting our country in many ways. Pray for the elections 4 weeks from today.

Grandparent’s Day at TBS is Friday, October 18th. This lunch, program, and open house is open to all. If you intend to join us for lunch at 11:45 a.m., please let Beth or Pastor Shaeffer know so that we have a place set for you.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
