Charlie Smith prayer letter - May, 2010

Thank you very much for your prayers and in this first paragraph let me inform you how your prayers were answered from our last prayer letter.

Charlie Smith Prayer Letter

In this past year, we have taught and preached much in letting God be God in your life and we have seen the blessings. Omar, Eric, Carlos, and Helen are good examples of Christian growth. Their spiritual lives have been a slow upward path with hearts to lead others to Christ and applying Scripture to their situations.

Charlie Smith Prayer Letter

October and November are our Spring months and that means weird weather and allergies. Today it is in the low 60’s with the sun shining; a few days ago, it was 90. Sunday it was a day of rain. Isn’t it odd how the weather changes and some will have an excuse to stay home?

A thank you for the promise of $$ from Charlie Smith

Praise God !!! That translates to $2,919 pesos. There is an international pastor's meeting in October 6-9. We can deliver the blessing then to the Argentine pastors. An item of prayer is this year I have been asked to bring a message. I enjoy preaching to people but it is another story when asked to preach to preachers.

Smith Prayer Requests

This is just a note to inform you about a prayer request from the March prayer letter concerning my health (Charlie). God has shown the doctors that the left kidney is not getting the blood supply needed. The renal artery is blocked approximately 60%, so my doctors are going to be doing an angioplasty to the left kidney.

Smiths won't be at TBC on May 3rd

Isn’t God great? Even when we do not expect it God sends us gifts. James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” I do not know about you but what kind of gifts can God give that is not good or perfect?

Smith Letter (Argentina)

Another prayer letter that is written to report what God is doing in our lives here in downtown Buenos Aires, Argentina. What a great blessing to serve the living God! Deut. 10:17; Jos. 1:9; 2 Sam. 22:33; Job 27:3; Ps. 46:1; 48:14; 59:9; 62:8, “Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” Ps. 144:15; 1 Cor. 1:9; 2 Cor. 9:8; Heb.
