I do not have much time, but wanted to write and thank you for all of your prayers. I made it safely to Oklahoma, though it was a tiring 2 day trip! God was with me throughout the entire trip. (Isn't He always?)

I have been overwhelmed by the response of so many of you in writing to let me know you are praying for my brother, my family, and for me. Twice I received an email from friends telling me that they had just been praying for my parents. I don't even know how to adequately thank you. (Can you imagine me at a loss for words?)

I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH MY FAMILY HERE and I'm still just as "crazy" as a grandmother! I think it has to have been my happiest week of 2010. René and Rafahel were indeed able to rest. We shared much, laughed a great deal and well, just plain had a wonderful time of being together. While I did do some work, I am a tad bit behind this week. Complaints? None!!!

A few nights ago, I received a text message from Cynthia. She had seen on the news that there had been a serious tornado in Oklahoma where my parents live. I tried to call them the following morning, but no one answered. A couple of hours later, though, I was able to connect with them. My mom told me that she could hear the storm and decided to look outside.

1. Please pray for Fanny Perez. She is the Deaf woman that I interpret for in Serrano. She will be having surgery on Monday to determine if a tumor she has is cancerous or not. I went with her to the doctor nearly every day and interpreted for her. She is handling this all calmly, but I know that she is also apprehensive.

I want to thank those who wrote to say they are praying for Cynthia's mom. When I shared this with Julia, her eyes filled up with tears. She even let me pray with her in the hospital room! Truly, even my own heart was touched by the response to my email asking prayer for her.

First, please forgive me for not writing the past couple of weeks. Things have been hectic! (I know, I know...what's new?) I do want to share with you what all has taken place.

There is so much to share that I'm not even sure where to begin...well, let's see - how about at the beginning?
