We appreciate your faithful prayer support for the ministry here in the Amazon. I want to use this update to share with you something from my heart and some exciting ministry possibilities.

The TBS high school speech class will perform "Catacombs" - a 3 act drama - this coming Friday evening, May 7th, at 7:00p. This is a story of faith and persecution. It requires us all to answer questions of our perspective of life and death.

An offering will be taken. The public is welcome.

Wayne and Cathy have recently asked for prayer for Wayne's brother David. He has suffered from some stomach problems in recent days. David passed away Sunday night. Pray for Wayne's family at this time. David gave a confession of faith in Jesus Christ, so we look forward to seeing him again some day.

1. Please pray for Fanny Perez. She is the Deaf woman that I interpret for in Serrano. She will be having surgery on Monday to determine if a tumor she has is cancerous or not. I went with her to the doctor nearly every day and interpreted for her. She is handling this all calmly, but I know that she is also apprehensive.

Chuck Nelson and his children ministered in song to us today. What a blessing to see this good family and hear their voices.

Last Friday, David Carrel (our new coworker) and I met with the deacons and pastors in Betânia to finish the study on church discipline. We spent time reviewing what we've studied and then broke them into groups for what I thought was a practical exercise. The 4 scenarios we gave them to work through all had to do with believers in sin.

"O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast
set they glory above the heavens" This is our reason for being, the
glory of God!

Please join us in prayer for my Dad, Rey Boisvert, the week of the 25th April. He is now scheduled for single bypass surgery for his heart. Please hold him and my mom up before God’s Throne of Grace. I do share Paul’s heartfelt burden of Romans 9:1-3 and 10:1 for my parents. God has opened the door for us to be there with them one week after the surgery.
