Otilia by Joanie Troester

She was cooking porridge and directing her household from beside her stove. Laughter and chatter of her children and their friends filled the small room. “Pedro, your uniform for school is pressed and on your bed,” she spoke gently to her youngest son. “Martins, your piano book is right there on the shelf,” she spoke to her oldest son, pointing with her wooden spoon.

Carolyn Price - July 3rd

I do not have much time, but wanted to write and thank you for all of your prayers. I made it safely to Oklahoma, though it was a tiring 2 day trip! God was with me throughout the entire trip. (Isn't He always?)

Sermon Audio Being Updated Regularly

If you haven't checked the Sermon Audio pages in a while, you will find that they are mostly updated and are being updated on much more regular basis. The thanks for this goes to Curt Carter who has taken over the job of editing and uploading our sermons and done a great job which has caused them to be available online much sooner than they were before.

Caroly Price - June 25, 2010

I have been overwhelmed by the response of so many of you in writing to let me know you are praying for my brother, my family, and for me. Twice I received an email from friends telling me that they had just been praying for my parents. I don't even know how to adequately thank you. (Can you imagine me at a loss for words?)

Kallal - June, 2010

Over the last few months I have been concerned about finding another home to live in here in Choma. The Byrnes plan to leave Zambia on August 11 and I have been living in the Byrnes’ servants’ quarters. I have watched for posted signs in town and people from church have been making me aware of houses that are also for rent. God did not seem to be opening any doors.

Peace - June, 2010

We wanted to give you an update about the trip to Manaus. Jacob was able to have a head CT done for his ongoing headaches. We are thankful that nothing serious was found. His sinuses are all inflammed so he is on medication for that right now. That could be a possible cause of the headaches. Jessica had lab work done as well as an abdominal ultrasound.

I am going to attend 1st Baptist, Waupaca today for Father's Day. My dad is going to be preaching there. Pastor Rory will continue his series at TBC in 2 Corinthians. See you tonight!

I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH MY FAMILY HERE and I'm still just as "crazy" as a grandmother! I think it has to have been my happiest week of 2010. René and Rafahel were indeed able to rest. We shared much, laughed a great deal and well, just plain had a wonderful time of being together. While I did do some work, I am a tad bit behind this week. Complaints? None!!!
